It has good oil content and is suitable for pickling. This Olive is a top producing commercial variety that produces heavy reliable crops of excellent sized drupes or fruits. Don't let the commercial variety put you off if you're after an ornamental olive tree as it is equally as desirable for it's evergreen pale green foliage as for it's fruiting qualities.
