Giant Antonovka is originally from russia and is a very hardy heritage cooking apple. Distinctive, dull and pale green-yellow skin. Fruit is sharp, crisp, refreshing and juicy and ripens to soft, perfumed viney flavour. Will cook to a brisk juicy puree. Suits cooler regions with a shorter season.
