Fuero Rous is a heritage variety, known traditionally as a french cider apple with significant levels of tannins at harvest time. However, the fruit is somewhat prone to rot and can resiult in a disappointing harvest. Fuero Rous is best pollinated by Golden Delicious and Granny Smith.
