Bluecrop is a Northern Highbush high-chill variety, known for it's heavy cropping and vigorous growth. It produces medium - large sized, sweet and mild, firm berries. Bluecrop is the most widely grown blueberry variety in the world. It is resistant to shoestring and red ringspot virus, and is moderately resistant to mummy berry and powdery mildew. Best suited to cooler climates, south of Waikato.
