Tom Putt is a triploid, heritage cider apple originating in england and dating back to 1700's. Ripening in autumn the fruit are large with a flat appearance. The skin is green flushed red, flesh is firm and quite sharp in flavour. Superb for both cooking and making Cider.
Named after the Rector of Trent, Reverend Tom Putt, who was the Rector at the time the apple was named.
